Terms of Service — Better.

Last updated: 30 July 2026 Effective date: 30 July 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Better. application and website (the "Service"), provided by Roy Caspi, an individual operating from Tel Aviv, Israel ("Better.", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who may use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to bind that business to these Terms.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We use trusted third parties for authentication; you are responsible for maintaining access to the email you register with.

4. The Service — what it is (and what it is not)

Better. is a tool to help you organize, track and analyze real-estate portfolios, finances, clients and related information, including calculators, reports and an AI assistant.

Not professional advice. The Service — including all calculations, yields, ROI/cap-rate figures, valuations, projections, reports, and AI-assistant output — is provided for informational and organizational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, real-estate, legal, tax or accounting advice. You are solely responsible for verifying any figure and for your own decisions. Always consult a qualified professional before making an investment, financial, legal or tax decision. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any output, market data, news, exchange rates or map data, some of which comes from third-party sources.

5. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

a. Plans. Better. offers a Free plan and paid Pro and Business plans, billed monthly or yearly. Prices and plan details are shown in the app before you purchase. New paid subscriptions include a 14-day free trial; you can cancel during the trial at no charge.

b. Payment processor / Merchant of Record. Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Paddle's buyer terms (available on Paddle's website).

c. Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Billing periods are monthly or yearly according to the plan you selected, and renewal is charged automatically to the payment method on file with Paddle.

d. Cancellation. You may cancel at any time in the app (Settings → Subscription) or via Paddle's customer portal; access continues until the end of the current paid period.

e. Refunds & EU right of withdrawal. Every new paid subscription starts with a 14-day free trial, so you can evaluate the Service before you are charged. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are non-refundable. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal; by starting to use the paid Service immediately, you request immediate performance, and any mandatory refund rights that still apply will be honored in accordance with applicable law and processed through Paddle.

f. Taxes. Any applicable taxes (VAT/sales tax) are shown at checkout; Paddle collects and remits them where applicable.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: break the law; infringe others' rights; upload malware; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data; scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service except as permitted by law; resell or provide the Service to third parties except through intended features; or use the Service to store data you have no lawful right to process.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the content and data you enter ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process and display Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights and lawful basis to provide it — including any personal data about your clients or third parties (see the Privacy Policy, §9). You can export and delete Your Content as described in the app and the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The Service itself — software, design, branding, "Better." name and logo, and all related IP — belongs to us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer any of our IP to you; you receive only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the Service per these Terms.

9. Third-party services

The Service integrates third-party services (e.g. maps, news, payment, AI, email). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.

10. Availability & changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms; we will post changes here and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or decisions made in reliance on the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including mandatory consumer-protection rights; carve them out.]

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or Your Content, to the extent permitted by law.

14. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; data handling follows the Privacy Policy.

15. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tel Aviv–Jaffa, Israel, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
